Education that lasts
Resources, courses and books for the parents, primary teachers, early years practitioners and settings doing the daily work. Rooted in twenty-four years of classroom and headship practice, and the research that backs it.
This strand exists for anyone in the room with the children — at home, in a nursery, in a primary classroom or in a setting that holds both. The materials here are designed to be read, used, returned to and shared. Most are written for two audiences at once: the people doing the teaching, and the parents trying to understand what good practice looks like from the outside. The classroom focus is primary, with substantial early years material alongside.
Six things on offer
1 · Year-Group Ready & Eleven-Plus Preparation
Resource packs that take a child confidently through each year of primary, from Reception through Year 6, plus a focused preparation set for the eleven-plus. Common exception words, spelling patterns, number lines, tens frames, the hundred square, and structured practice for the comprehension and reasoning the eleven-plus actually tests.
Digital packs · single-family use · setting licences on request.
2 · Sellable Resources for Teachers
A library of nearly one hundred ready-to-use primary teacher resources — phonics charts, number lines, common exception words, spelling patterns, hundred squares, comprehension grids — available in editable Word and print-ready PDF. Available through the Shop and through Teachers Pay Teachers.
3 · Books on Pedagogy and Practice
Eight titles for primary and early years practitioners and leaders. Topics include high challenge / low threat learning, the key person approach, leading early years through change, and what the children themselves teach us if we slow down and watch.
Available from the Shop · paperback and digital · single-copy and setting-licence pricing.
4 · Level 3 Early Years Educator — Supplementary Course
Six modules of supplementary material to deepen the Level 3 qualification.
Built around the lived practice of the early years room — care and welfare, knowing the child, the learning environment, partnership with families, professional development, safeguarding.
Each module includes a study booklet, a one-page infographic and a presentation set.
Self-paced · cohort enrolment available for settings.
5 · Parent Suite
One-page guides for parents — choosing childcare, settling-in, sleep, screen time, school readiness, fussy eating, funded hours, what good nursery practice actually looks like, supporting primary learning at home, and the eleven-plus question. Plus ten short videos and two longer guides.
Free downloads · also bundled with consultancy engagements.
6 · Bespoke Resource Development
If your setting or school needs a specific resource — a parent communication, an assessment framework, a piece of training material — I can build it for you.
Pricing follows the consultancy day-rate set out in the Coaching and Leadership strand.
